Where does IMI see the industry evolving to over the coming years? |

The information age is truly upon us. Changes to levels of paper records, the growing comfort level with digital
information, and the tremendous expansion of the communications superhighway all impact records and information
managers. Product and service providers need to be better educated than ever before on these emerging
opportunities and embrace 'change' as a priority; not an intrusion or interruption to the status quo. This is
one of the tremendous benefits of the IMI affiliation; to
bring people together to openly discuss the future and to plan for it proactively, and with enthusiasm!

Are our needs managed locally (in one or each market), regionally, nationally, or internationally? |

We let our clients answer that question. In other words, it is less important to us whether we centralize account
management to minimize our costs as it is to build solutions around the client's preference. We are equipped with
a centralized toll free number and centralized database solution for consolidated account management. Or we can
deliver these same services locally (a more common customer preference these days) and still reserve the ability
merge data from region to region after the fact for consolidated service or cost analysis statistics.

How can our business participate in IMI? |

IMI affiliates are pre-screened for participation in advance to assure that
IMI customers get quality vendors and no surprises after the fact. There
are a number of appropriate steps to certification that offer minimum "hurdles" to participation while still protecting the

Will IMI expand into my market if it's not there now? |

We welcome the opportunity to expand into new areas, yet are driven primarily by customer need rather
than a desire to be the biggest. Still in its infancy, IMI is a
growing affiliation of dynamic service providers. If we're not where you need us to be, call us, tell us, and
we'll see what we can do.

What is IMI's commitment to the future of information management? |
 |
Our commitment to the future is huge. First, we have a huge focus on education. Through our affiliates
in consulting and academia, all affiliates gain insight into new technologies and improvements in RIM
practices and procedures. We are excited about gathering this information and passing it on free of
charge to the industry. We also invest in supporting both the industry associations we participate in
(see the Industry Associations page) as well as a number of charitable organizations.

I didn't see a particular service I was looking for among IMI's current offerings. Why not? |
 |
IMI is in its relative infancy and we expect rapid growth in
the number of participating/contributing organizations (and other service providers) in the coming months/years.
While our early efforts in adding affiliates has been based on covering a diverse service arena, we recognize
that we do not yet have every possible answer or solution at our fingertips. We look forward to getting lots of

To a very large extent, IMI is "owned" by the
businesses that participate. The focus is not for IMI
to be a separate profit generating entity as much as to simply bring complimentary service providers
together and enhance the overall service offering. However, there is a centralized management structure
to protect the integrity of every client relationship!
